The Governor, I have the honour to advise that His Majesty the King of Hawaii left Yokohama on the 16th instant for Shanghai, whence he is coming to this port subsequently.
The date of His Majesty's arrival here is at present uncertain, but as soon as I am in a position to do so I will acquaint you with it.
His Majesty is traveling strictly incognito under the title of Ali Kalakaua.
